SALT LAKE CITY -- A man robbed a money-to-loan store this evening in Salt Lake City.
Police say a masked man entered the EZ Loan Services office at 145 E. 1300 South, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money from the safe.
She gave him the money. He then locked her in a room and exited out the back door.
Sgt. Clark Amott, with the Salt Lake City Police Department, said, "She was very careful. She's scared to death, but she was very brave. She did exactly what she was supposed to do."
The man left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He's about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and was wearing a black shirt, denim shorts and white athletic shoes.
