ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Authorities are on the lookout this morning for those responsible for spray painting 16 cars in St. George.
It happened last week. That's when investigators say the cars were hit with a paint-stripped chemical ---- causing $32,000 in damage.
Detectives say the chemical left a 6-inch-wide strip of bubbling paint on the sides. Officers say a chemical spray bottle from a wood-stripping kit was found near the scene of one of the vandalism. Investigators will test it for fingerprints.
