Randall Jeppesen ReportingA 19-year-old Utah County man is in jail after police say he raped his own sister. A very distressing case for all involved. The 19-year-old suspect sits in the Utah County Jail.
Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Sean Chipman: "One count of rape. One count of sodomy with a child. And forceful sexual abuse of a minor."
Sgt. Chipman says the victim was only 14, and it was his special needs sister who has the mind of a little child.
Sgt. Chipman: "It was referred to use through the school. The victim actually told the teacher."
Police say the suspect has a juvenile record, but at this time they can't comment on his past history.
