(KSL News) Lab results show a Utah man hospitalized with E.Coli was NOT sickened with the same bacteria strain connected to Taco Bell restaurants.
The unidentified man travels extensively and ate at several restaurants in California during the time period of suspected contamination.
Health officials say we may never know where the man contracted the infection.
He was hospitalized last month and is now recovering at home.
Meanwhile, federal testing failed to confirm green onions as the source of the outbreak that sickened 64 people.
Officials say they're not ruling anything out.
