Far away from the slopes little Savannah Cook rests on her couch and remembers a skiing horror story.
Savanah Cook: "We all tried to move to get away from him, but he wasn't watching out for anybody and he ran into me."
Savannah's dad, Colby, points out the cast for her broken femur. It extends to both legs and halfway up her chest. He can't believe the guy took off.
Colby Cook: "It would be nice for him to say, "Hey, I hit your daughter and I'm sorry and I hope she's okay."
The Salt Lake County Sheriff's office is now investigating. Snowbird is going back over its surveillance tapes to see if they yield any clues.
Colby Cook says his daughter doesn't have medical insurance. A fund has been set up in her name, Savannah Cook, at US Bank.
