SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- University Hospital has completed an eight-year expansion project.
The new Patient Care Pavilion was scheduled to open with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.
The five-story pavilion was the last part of the expansion that started in 2001. University Hospital opened the Eccles Critical Care Pavilion in 2003.
The hospital also expanded its helipad parking terrace and made two-story addition to the Critical Care Pavilion.
