(KSL News) -- The Utah chapter of the watchdog group Common Cause has disbanded.
The all volunteer organization monitored state lawmakers for ethics violations and is thought to be largely responsible for creating open meeting, public record and lobbyist disclosure laws.
The Utah chapter was formed in 1972 but the leader said in recent years they have run out of time and resources.
