SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man has pleaded guilty in a fatal crash with a flower delivery van.

Police have said Jeris Christopher Oberle, 22, was driving drunk on April 11 when he crossed the center line and hit a van driven by 72-year-old Robert Howard, who was killed.

On Friday Oberle pleaded guilty to third-degree felony automobile homicide, The Salt Lake Tribune reported on its Web site. Two misdemeanor charges were dismissed.

Oberle faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 28 in 3rd District Court.
