Thousands of Utah children qualify for a free breakfast at school each morning, but few are taking advantage of the meals.
A report by the Food Research Action Center shows just over 32 percent of those children who qualify for the breakfasts actually particiapte in the program.
That ranks Utah among the lowest for particiaption in the nation.
FARC officials say they do not know why the numbers are so low but suggest Utah schools look into better ways of serving the meals.
