The Salt Lake County Animal Services shelter is hosting an open house tomorrow, and invites you to bring a gift for the animals that will be spending Christmas there.
Pet toys, treats, blankets, and water bowls are just a few things they'd like to see under the tree.
Temma Martin, Salt Lake County Animal Services: "Certainly the number one thing on every one of our pet's wish list is to have a loving home for the holidays."
The shelter does ask people not to select a pet for another family. Instead, it offers gift certificates so family members can come and choose a pet that fits their lifestyle.
Christmas for the Animals opens tomorrow morning at 9:30 at Salt Lake County Animal Services, located at 511 West 3900 South.
Hours are from 9:30-5:30 on Saturday.
They are in need of toys, treats, blankets, towels, stainless steel water bowls, and monetary donations for special needs and injured animals
