DAVIS COUNTY -- Several lanes of I-15 were closed Wednesday afternoon in Davis County because a belly dumper lost its load.
The truck spilled its load of asphalt on the northbound interstate near the Layton Hills Mall around 12:45.
The three right lanes of traffic closed, and drivers were forced to use the left shoulder to negotiate around the mess.
The asphalt has now been cleaned up and all freeway lanes are open.
