(KSL News) -- Brigham Young University honored LDS veterans who fought during World War II.
The university held a ceremony on campus to mark the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Organizers recognized Mervyn Bennion, captain of U.S.S. West Virginia. Bennion died on board the ship when it sank in Pearl Harbor, and posthumously received a Congressional Medal of Honor.
Today's ceremony was held in relation to a Pearl Harbor exhibit called "Saints at War".
