(KSL News) A high speed chase this morning lands two people in jail.
Police spotted a stolen SUV in West Valley City. Officers tried to pull over the vehicle, but the driver took off, leading police on a chase that reached speeds of 100-miles-per-hour.
It ended when the suspect abandoned the SUV and took off into a park, where Salt Lake City police were able to catch him.
Both the driver and a female passenger are now in the Salt Lake County Jail.
