(KSL News) Tens of thousands of Latter-day Saints filled the Conference Center in downtown Salt Lake tonight.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir performed traditional holiday music at the annual First Presidency Christmas Devotional. The program was also seen in church meeting houses around the country on satellite.
Gordon B. Hinckley/ LDS Church President: "Born in a manger, He came to earth under the humblest of circumstances. The son of the Almighty became the Savior of all mankind."
The church leaders urged everyone to keep the spirit of Christmas -- which is love, generosity and goodness-- throughout the year.
