(KSL News) His mom describes him as a dream child.

Tiffany Champion is proud of her 14-year-old son Nathan. She says he is an excellent student, and helps take care of his grandmother, who is battling breast cancer.

Our Coco Warner went to Sandy to give Nathan a High Five this morning.

Tiffany Champion: "Nathan has had national achievements in his academics. He's been with my mom through breast cancer, and I just love him to bits and pieces. He's such a good kid."

Nathan Johnson: "I just think it's hard. I've never really seen my mom cry like this. I love my grandma and I just love helping her."

Nathan is also a huge Utah fan, but seems to have recovered after Saturday's tough loss.
