Sam Penrod ReportingOgden Police are asking for help in finding a man who stole two safes from Ogden's McKay Dee Hospital.
The safes contained substantial valuables, including cash thousands of dollars in cash.
Police know who the suspect is; they are now trying to find him. They say he stole two safes from McKay Dee Hospital, and one of them right in the middle of the day.

Surveillance video from the hospital on Thanksgiving Day reveals a man apparently searching for valuables. The man found the safes and then took a cart from the hospital and loaded up the safe, pushed it out the door and loaded it into his truck. This was at 1:00 in the afternoon.
Lt. Tony Fox of the Ogden Police Department: He was pretty sure of himself, and no one noticed anything."
Believe it or not, the suspect returned the next day at 4:30 in the morning and stole another safe.
One of the safes contained hospital cash. The other had valuables of employees and patients in the hospital.

But from the video, police know who the man is. He is Jerad Anderson and he has a long criminal history.
Officers found the truck he used to transport the safes. Anderson is now believed to be in a 1993 green and blue color Ford Tempo, Utah license plate 587 PAL.

So far the safes have not been recovered, nor has any of the stolen property.
If you have any information on where Jerad Anderson is, contact the Ogden Police Department.
