Police say they found drugs inside a car involved in a hit and run crash in Provo.

Police say around 11:45 this morning, a gray car struck a woman in a crosswalk near 1800 North and University Avenue.

Witnesses say the driver sped off, and stopped on Center Street.

Officers had search dogs go through the car, and found drugs inside.

Police arrested the driver.

The woman involved in the crash was taken to a hospital for treatment.
