(KSL News) -- Earlier this week, we showed you one fat cat in China.
Now, a cat in Georgia is tipping the scales and then some.

A cat's average weight is about 9 pounds, but this 45-pounder is way past average. Owner Paul Webster doesn't plan on putting his feline friend on a diet.
Sam only eats one cup of dried cat food per day, and maybe canned cat food as a treat.

According to the cat's vet, Sam is healthy...though hefty.
