SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- By the end of today, Utahns should know the official results from Election Day.
Officials say that's because the Salt Lake County clerk's office is planning to finish recounts in three races.
In District 49, Democrat Jay Seegmiller requested a recount after learning his opponent House Speaker Greg Curtis only won by 19 votes.
Democrat Laura Black also asked for a recount after learning of her 18-vote loss to GOP incumbent Mark Walker in House District 45.
And finally, incumbent Lynette Phillips called for a recount after she lost to Tracy Cowdell for Jordan School Board seat No. 6 by only 12-votes.
Races are eligible for recounts if vote margins are less than one vote per precinct.
