(KSL News) -- A bittersweet moment tonight in the KSL lobby. We all gathered for a very special announcement.
With Governor Huntsman out of the country First Lady Mary Kaye, read a proclamation.
Mary Kaye Huntsman, First Lady of Utah: "Therefore, I Jon M. Huntsman Jr., governor of the state of Utah, do hereby declare November 29th, 2006 Mark E. Eubank Appreciation Day."
That's Wednesday!
Lots of weathermen were in the audience tonight and most learned the trade under Mark. Mark pointed out that Bob Welti spent 45 years on Salt Lake television.
Mark Eubank: "I've been in this market for 40 years. I don't think there are too many places in the country where they keep their weathermen for four decades at a time."
