(KSL News) A high speed chase this morning leaves police still searching for the suspect.
An officer attempted to pull over a stolen car on I-215. The suspect took off, exited the freeway, then escaped on foot, leaving a woman and her baby in the car at about 3140 South 1800 West.
Sgt. John Pearce of West Valley Police: "That someone would risk an infant in the car and drive like that, it's just bewildering to me."
Both are safe, but the woman will not say who the man driving the car was.
Police and dogs are still searching for the suspect.
