SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Tis' the season for traveling. That's according to a new report by AAA, who predicts more Utahns will travel this Thanksgiving holiday than the previous year.
In fact, AAA says more than 300,000 Utah residents will travel 50 miles or more this holiday. That's a 2.5 percent increase over last year.
The agency says about 80 percent of those residents will travel by car, about 15 percent plan to fly and the remaining 5 will use other transportation such as railroads, buses or cruise ships.
Although more Utahns are traveling this year, a AAA report says travelers will face higher prices for hotels, airfares and car rentals.
