(KSL News) The Utah Department of Commerce is warning the Spanish-speaking community to be aware of a new scam targeting them.

People call asking for cash to help immigrants learn English, and for an additional donation, the scammers say they can help bring relatives into the country.

Rosie Rodriguez got one of these calls. She became suspicious when the caller told her to wire funds to a Western Union.

Rosie Rodriguez/Targeted by scam: "Call somebody and ask them, they're wanting money from me. What do I do?"
