Conservative activist Cherilyn Bacon Eagar is forming an exploratory committee in preparation to join the race to replace Senator Bennett.
She told me she'll be focusing on identifying the fundraisers and potential supporters she'll need for a campaign.
Eagar also noted that having a woman in the race can really energize things
