(KSL News) The Mormon Tabernacle Choir received a special award for inspiring the world with its performances.
When the choir wrapped up "Music and the Spoken Word" yesterday, it was presented with the Mother Teresa Award.
The award is a statue of a modern Mother Teresa created by the same people that make the Oscar statues.
The choir joins a pretty impressive list of award laureates, including Pope John Paul II, Andrea Bocelli, President Jimmy Carter, Nelson Mandela and more.
