PARLEY'S CANYON -- Troopers say speeding caused a serious accident in Parley's Canyon Saturday night.
The Utah Highway Patrol received a call of a motorist driving erratically westbound on I-80 in the canyon around 7:30 p.m. By the time troopers found the car, it had crashed into a barrier near Lamb's Canyon.
The accident shut down the freeway for some time, but it's now reopened.
The driver was flown to the hospital in critical condition.
