Highland Rugby will play for its 19th national championship on Saturday.

The team is best known as the inspiration behind the major motion picture Forever Strong, which released nationwide last fall, and is now debuting on DVD May 26.

Highland beat the Kansas City Junior Blues 42-3 tonight to advance to Saturday's championship game.

"This was probably the best overall game we've played this year," Coach Larry Gelwix said after Friday night's win. "It was just incredible defense. We just hit it so fast. We attacked. That was the difference."

Highland will now face its rival to the south, Utah County's United Rugby, for an all-Utah final for the 2009 USA Rugby U-19 National Championship. Game time is at 6 p.m. Eastern.

United downed Union County (N.J) 24-5 in the first round and secured a 31-17 win over No. 6 seed West Shore United (Pa.)

Earlier Friday, Highland Rugby won its first-round game against North Carolina's Highlanders 31-15.
