(KSL News) Police found a man wandering the streets near 1500 West and 3rd South, drunk and nearly unconscious.
The man went to a home to settle a fight armed with a shotgun.
He tried forcing his way into the house, then a resident hit him several times, knocking over the suspect. He fell and hit his head on the lamp-post, then wandered away.
The man was found and taken to the hospital, but is doing fine.
He's being charged with attempted assault.
