WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police have arrested a man who they say held up a West Valley City Wal-Mart pharmacy Tuesday afternoon in search of OxyContin.

Pharmacy employees at the store near 3100 South and 5600 West say the man approached the counter, told them he had a weapon and demanded drugs. After he got the drugs, he went into the restroom, changed clothes and took off.

Wal-Mart employees called police, and then followed him for a couple of blocks until officers stopped him.

"Of course, the employees identified him as the armed robber, and he was arrested," said Capt. Tom McLachlan, spokesman for the West Valley City Police Department.

Police say Eric Bellini is a repeat offender. They believe he hit up the same Wal-Mart pharmacy four years ago.
