(KSL News) Weber County Sheriff's deputies are looking into a possible kidnap attempt tonight.

Capt. Klint Anderson/ Weber County Sheriff's Office: "We really don't have anything that tilts it one way or another yet."

A five-year-old boy was waiting for a school bus in West Haven.

He told deputies a man stopped and tried to lure him into his truck. The boy screamed and told his mother.

Deputies say they found the driver a couple of blocks away. The man said he just stopped to tie down a tarp on his truck. Another witness backed up the man's story.

No one's been arrested.
