(KSL News) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints re-dedicated a temple in Tahiti today.
The Papeete Tahiti temple was first dedicated in 1983 as the church's 25th temple, but it has undergone some renovations.
Now it is one of 124 temples worldwide and it will serve 21-thousand church members.
Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles presided over events this weekend.
Some in Salt Lake City were able to watch the dedication over satellite today.
