OGDEN -- Two women accused of severely beating an Ogden teenager have struck plea deals. The beating was caught on tape and posted on YouTube.

The Deseret News reports Paloma Lopez, 24, and Alexandra Gutierrez, 18, appeared in 2nd District Court Wednesday and pleaded guilty to a third-degree felony charge of riot.

The two women and three teenagers were arrested for kicking and punching a 15-year-old girl on the 500 block at 28th Street in Ogden last December. The arrests came after a student at Mount Ogden Junior High saw the video on YouTube and told a school police officer.

Lopez and Gutierrez could face prison time when they're sentenced June 17.
