ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Residents who have business at St. George City Hall may want to deal with it in person.
That's because an unknown glitch in either the incoming lines or the building's hardware has shut down the phones lines.
City officials say the phone system has been down since Monday night and none of the city's departments can make or receive outside calls. However, communication within the network is still possible.
City officials say technicians have been working around the clock to try and resolve the problem.
The city hopes to have a solution by Monday. Today the city's offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.
