"Was Arlen Specter's move to the Democratic party just a ploy to keep his seat?" "Yes," says ABC Political Director David Chalian, "but he is also following the electorate in Pennsylvania." David talked about how many Republicans in that state switched parties this year, and how the party is shrinking in general. Today marks the first 100 days of President Obama's administration. Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest joined Grant and Amanda this morning to talk up the President's accomplishments. When asked about how the President hadn't really changed the tone in Washington, something he campaigned to do, Josh said, "The President has changed HIS tone. And the fact that Arlen Specter has switched over shows that the President is definitely reaching across the asile, with some success." Click here to hear the interview.
