(KSL News) -- Police hope stolen jewelry will lead to the murderer of a pregnant Taylorsville woman.
Sonia Mejia was sexually assaulted and strangled in her apartment in February. Since that time, police have chased a number of leads but have been unable to identify a suspect.
They are now hoping jewelry stolen from Mejia at the time of her death could lead to an arrest.
Police are looking for a heart shaped ruby ring, a diamond ring and a gold medallion with the Lady of Guadelupe. They think the killer may still have the items or have given them as gifts.
Anyone with information is asked to call Taylorsville police at 743-7000.
