PROVO, Utah (April 26, 2009) - After the conclusion of the 2009 NFL Draft that saw BYU players Austin Collie and Fui Vakapuna selected, five other Cougars signed as free agents with NFL teams on Sunday.

BYU's four senior starting offensive lineman each signed a free-agent contract. Travis Bright signed with the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Reynolds signed with the Philadelphia Eagles while Ray Feinga and David Oswald each signed with the St. Louis Rams. On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker David Nixon signed with the Oakland Raiders.

Feinga (6-5, 348, G) and Reynolds (6-5, 320, C) were All-Mountain West Conference First Team selections in 2008, while Bright (6-5, 313, G) and Nixon (6-3, 223, LB) garnered All-MWC Second Team accolades. Oswald (6-8, 330, T) started 29 games for the Cougars at right tackle over the past three seasons.

Having signed as free agents, the players will take part in the upcoming team mini-camps and also participate in summer camps, looking to make their respective team's final roster.
