SALT LAKE CITY -- A plume of smoke rose above the Salt Lake Valley Friday when a cabinet business caught on fire.
A worker noticed smoke coming from the Distinctive Creations cabinet shop at 2601 S. 2700 West around 11:30 a.m.
The worker alerted everyone inside. Most employees evacuated, while some tried to put it out with fire extinguishers.
The fire was mostly contained to the hopper where the business puts all of its sawdust.
Fire crews say the building suffered mostly smoke damage, and no one was hurt.
