(KSL News) A polygamist community continues to expand despite the absence of its leader, Warren Jeffs.
The compound near Pringle, South Dakota recently built several structures on the property while Jeffs is behind bars.
Authorities say compound members are currently working on a large lodge with 18 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.
A Custer County director says members have built one or two lodges each year on the 100-acre property since 2003.
