CEDAR CITY -- Two Cedar City girls claim they were sexually abused by a family friend.

Police arrested John Noel Glessing Tuesday on charges of sexual abuse of a child and sodomy on a child.

The St. George Spectrum reports his alleged victims are sisters -- aged 12 and 14 -- and they told a teacher about the abuse. That teacher then went to police.

The investigation into the abuse is ongoing. Glessing is being held in the Iron County jail.
