OREM, Utah (AP) -- A 29-year-old woman was arrested in Orem after her car rammed a house several times and hit a car and a trailer parked at the house.
Orem police Lieutenant Doug Edwards says the woman went to the home early Saturday. The people who live there have a protective order against her. Police say the woman drove over the lawn and threw a pumpkin at the front door before ramming her car into the house several times.
Edwards says the woman's car also struck another vehicle and a trailer.
She stopped to scream at the people inside the house, which Edwards says gave officers time to get to the house. A chase ensued and she was arrested at her own apartment building.
Araceli Johnson was booked into the Utah County jail for investigation of a number of charges including aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident, evading, attempted aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
