(KSL News) -- Students from six Utah Universities gathered at the U for a real battle of the brains today.
The teams had five hours to complete nine simple and complex computer program problems. The most accurate and fastest team wins.
The collegiate contest is sponsored by IBM. The winners of today's competition will represent the Rocky Mountain region at an international competition in Tokyo in March.
About 6-thousand teams around the world will be competing to get there for a chance to win prizes and scholarships.
