HERSHEY, Neb. (AP) -- A Utah man in a pickup driven by his wife was killed in an accident on Interstate 80 near Hershey in west-central Nebraska.
Elden M. Bechel of Uintah died in the crash Thursday, the Nebraska state patrol said.
The pickup was headed west when it entered the median and rolled at a spot about four miles west of Hershey in Lincoln County.
Bechel and his wife, Janice Bechel, 65, were wearing seat belts, according to police.
Janice Bechel, 65, was taken to the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, where officials said Saturday she is alert and awake.
