(KSL News) -- The wife of the man accused of killing 5-year old Destiny Norton says she will place their 15-month old daughter up for adoption.
Lawyers for Catherine Gregerson says the child is already living with the family that plans to adopt her and that she is trying to rebuild her life.
Gregerson currently faces a single charge of simple assault stemming from a family argument lawyers say was over the adoption.
Her husband Craig is currently awaiting trial on charges of capital murder and first-degree felony kidnapping in connection with Norton's death.
