(KSL News) Decision 2006: A Conversation With the Candidates" tonight brought out two men running for a Senate seat from Utah.
Republican Senator Orrin Hatch and Democratic candidate Pete Ashdown discussed the war on terror, minimum wage, and the Patriot Act.
Sen. Orrin Hatch/(R) Utah: "The Patriot Act has been very successful, along with other anti-crime acts, convicted over 261 alleged terrorists."
Pete Ashdown/(D) Candidate for Senate: "I believe our Bill of Rights is the most important thing, and our Constitution. It protects our privacy. It protects what the government can do to us, and I have not a lot of trust in the federal government in doing the right thing."
