KSL Newsradio's Andrew Adams reportingApparently the guy just wanted a bite to eat. It was after hours, and he reportedly walked up to the drive-through window at Burger King at the corner of 200 East and 400 South.
"They have a policy that says they will not serve people who are walk-ups to the window," said Salt Lake City Police Det. Robyn Snyder. "They have to be in a vehicle. They had some words, he was pretty upset with employees of the Burger King."
Snyder said the man was so upset he walked away and placed a bomb threat from a pay phone. The employee reportedly recognized the suspect's voice, called police, and the suspect was picked up a few blocks away.
"For being upset about not being served at a fast-food restaurant, he's now charged with a third-degree felony. It's a very serious crime," said Snyder.
