COALVILLE -- A 12-year-old boy was hit by a car and killed in Coalville Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the boy was riding his bike and did not stop when he came to a stop sign at the intersection of 50 West and 100 South. A vehicle approaching the same intersection had no time to react and hit him.
Emergency crews did what they could to save him, but he was later pronounced dead.
Police have not yet released the boy's name.
