(KSL News) -- The mayor of Eagle Mountain has resigned.
Mayor Brian Olson submitted his resignation yesterday, saying it was for personal and family reasons.
City council members met this morning to elect a Mayor Pro Tem who will serve for 30 days. Then there will be an election.
The city council says they are committed to working together on a vision for the city.
