SPANISH FORK, Utah (AP) -- One of two teenage girls accused of creating a hit list of students, staff and parents has been expelled from school.
The American Leadership Academy board voted to expel her.
The board acted Monday after looking at the list and listening to statements from the girl and her parents, said Allen Davis, attorney for the school.
Another teen will appear before the board next week.
Police said the girls, ages 13 and 16, compiled a list containing more than 10 names. Other students heard about it and told school officials.
There was no indication the teens were planning to carry out the threats, Lt. Carl Johnston said.
