SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man has been arrested in connection with the beating of his wife and children.
It allegedly happened on Sunday during a violent confrontation.
Police say the 35-year-old man got into a fight with his 13-year-old daughter and began hitting and kicking her.
When the mother tried to intervene, police say the man punched his wife in the face. Officers say a two-year-old boy was also hurt in the fight when he was apparently pushed into the wall.
The man was later arrested and booked into jail for investigation of child abuse and domestic violence in front of a child.
