RIVERTON, Utah (AP) -- A Riverton woman accused of stealing more than 55-thousand dollars from her former employer over a two-year period has been charged.
Stephanie Jo Wilde-Mathie now faces two counts of theft, three counts of forgery and one count of unlawful acquisition and use of a credit card.
She's accused of forging more than 53-thousand dollars worth of checks and charging about two-thousand on a bogus credit card. This while she was a manager at the Shadow Mountain Family Physician's Office in West Valley City.
Court documents say the used the money to pay bills and buy carpeting. Wilde-Mathie has been released on 15-thousand dollars bail.
